Denver Divers

Denver Divers was founded in 1961 by one of the first pioneers in the scuba business and the store has thrived to become one of the largest in the state.

DAD grew out of the Denver Divers adaptive scuba program in 2018, so that the program could be registered as a non-profit and made available to more people.

Denver Divers is DAD’s primary partner.  All DAD classroom and pool training takes place at the Denver Divers shop. Many Denver Divers instructors are involved with the DAD program and join DAD trips.

Craig Hospital

Craig Hospital is a world-renowned, premier center for specialty neurorehabilitation and research for people with spinal injury and brain injury.   It is a 93-bed, private, not-for-profit inpatient/outpatient hospital that offers acute, short- and long-term care.

Craig has been a partner with DAD for several years, and many DAD program candidates are referred to us through Craig.  Craig support staff participate in DAD trips when the trips include Craig  patients.

TUSA

TUSA is one of the world’s first scuba equipment manufacturers, founded by Kazuo Tabata in Tokyo, Japan in 1952. From the first handmade mask and goggles built in Mr. Tabata’s garage, Tabata products have always been constructed from the finest materials with an unparalleled commitment to quality and innovation.

TUSA is a major supporter of the DAD program through donations of equipment provided at no cost to our divers. Their generosity has allowed the program to have great reach, and introduce diving to more people than would otherwise be possible.

River Deep Foundation

The River Deep Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping military veterans and other individuals who have experienced physical, emotional or psychological trauma heal and re-engage in life through adventure, recreation and a network of support.
