DAD holds two major fundraiser events each year. Attending our fundraisers is a great way to support us, and also lots of fun!

Annual Dinner & Auction

Our annual dinner is our premier fundraiser. It is held each September to raise money and celebrate our students, instructors, dive buddies and friends. The program includes one or more guest speakers, and an update on our progress.  There’s also a live auction with offerings donated by our supports.

Underwater Poker Tournament

Our underwater poker tournament is held in the fall, and takes place at the Denver Divers pool. The game is Texas Hold ‘Em, and the entry fee is around $50. Due to limited space in the pool, the field is capped at around thirty people.

If you’ve never tried underwater poker, get ready for fun! It works better than you might expect, and a SCUBA mask makes it easy to hide your tells.
